Locals used to relish the fact that we were not an obvious visitor destination. We were one of the best kept secrets, enjoying unspoiled beaches and nature reserves, living by the code "if you know, you know."
Our annual visitor numbers have been steadily climbing for several years, reaching 1.2 million in 2025. As a rare blended Bush-Bay-City we have so much to offer, to match any pace.
