Imagine healthy, active living
Frankston City is a hub for sports enthusiasts. But more importantly, with our vast open spaces and network of cycling and walking trails, everyday living leans firmly into healthy active outdoors activities.
Choose how you move
With world-class facilities, open spaces and a strong community spirit, there are endless ways to move, play and stay connected.
Golf courses, skate parks, swimming pools, athletics tracks, tennis courts, and indoor and outdoor facilities for basketball, netball, football, soccer, rugby, hockey and more are all part of everyday life here.
With more than 100 sports clubs, 65 sports grounds and 75 pavilions, it’s easy to get involved and feel part of a team.
Built for big moments
Major Federal, State and local government investment in our sporting facilities continues to shape our city. Make sure you come and check out Jubilee Park Stadium's indoor and outdoor facilities, Kinetic Stadium, Ballam Park's athletics track, Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club and so many more of our incredible sporting venues. There's aways something on every weekend of the year, to get the crowds cheering and energy high!
An aquatic lifestyle
Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre is a year-round destination, with indoor pools, family-friendly play areas and spaces to relax and recover.
In the warmer months, Pines Forest Aquatic Centre offers a classic outdoor swimming experience, complete with a 50-metre pool and a strong community atmosphere. Recognised as Facility of the Year (Seasonal) at the 2025 Aquatics and Recreation Victoria Awards, it remains a local favourite.
