Sweetwater Creek Nature Reserve
Sweetwater Creek is one of Frankston's most rewarding off-the-radar walks.
The 13-hectare reserve follows the creek through steep gullies, swamps, floodplains and open bushland, with walking tracks, boardwalks, lookouts and bridges connecting it all.
The highlight is The Granites, a striking natural formation where the creek has carved its course around large rocky outcrops and boulders.
You might even spot one of the amazing sculptures hidden amongst the bush.
Enter from Liddesdale Avenue at the base of Oliver's Hill and extend the walk across Nepean Highway to connect with the Frankston Foreshore boardwalk for a full coastal finish.
