Ballam Park Homestead

Colonial history, Devonshire tea, and 30 hectares of open parkland. 

Built in 1855 by the pioneering Liardet family, Ballam Park Homestead is one of Frankston City's oldest buildings and a National Heritage-listed gem. The beautifully preserved French-style sandstone farmhouse is operated by the Frankston Historical Society, with costumed guides leading tours through colonial-era rooms, a blacksmith's shop and a museum of local artefacts.  

After the tour, settle into the charming tea rooms for scones, homemade cakes and Devonshire tea. Then let the kids loose across 30 hectares of surrounding parkland, complete with two regional playgrounds, sporting fields and a premier athletics track.
