Frankston Nature Conservation Reserve
Frankston Nature Conservation Reserve is one of our best kept secrets; a hidden gem of 98 hectares nestled within walking distance of Frankston city centre.
One of Frankston City's best-kept secrets, this significant conservation reserve offers walking trails, extraordinary wildlife and a kayak and canoe launch ramp onto the calm reservoir.
Choose from the 5km Reservoir Circuit (flat, wide and accessible) or the more intimate 3.1km Kookaburra Bush Circuit through dense native scrub.
The reserve is home to more than 300 species of native plants and animals, including echidnas, blue tongue lizards, the Growling Grass Frog and the rare Blue-billed Duck.
