Father Marker - R U OK

Artist:

Father Marker

Mural Name:

R U OK

Artist Description:

The R U OK? mural was created by the Fresh FReeZA Committee in collaboration with local artist Father Marker (Tyson Savanah) and was designed to spread a message of mateship within the music community. The mural features various ‘easter eggs,’ each thoughtfully chosen by the youth committee to pay tribute to the unique elements of Frankston’s vibrant music scene.

The Mural depicts how music brings people together, forming strong bonds and a sense of belonging, while also aligning with the important message of R U OK? Day—encouraging open conversations and supporting those who might be going through tough times. The project provided young people with the opportunity to develop real-world skills through collaboration, design, and execution, which aligns with the core goals of the FReeZA initiative.

Location:

Nepean Highway, Frankston
