Frankston's Street Art Festival
Monday 16 - Sunday 22 March 2026
Frankston City Laneways
Save the date for 2026 as Frankston’s Street Art Festival returns for its 10th year.
From 16–22 March 2026, Frankston’s city centre will ignite with colour as ten large-scale murals and projection artworks transform the CBD into a week-long open-air gallery. Expect bold walls, fresh energy and the full force of Frankston’s award-winning street art culture.
Artists and Locations
By the end of the 2026 festival, Frankston will be home to more than 110 murals by leading Australian and international street artists.
Artists will be actively painting throughout the week — visitors are encouraged to drop by, watch the process, and experience the works as they evolve.
Free Street Art Studio
As part of the Frankston Street Art Festival and South Side Festival, an empty retail space at Bayside Shopping Centre will be transformed into a pop-up street art gallery.
Located upstairs in the former Toys R Us space off Shannon Street Mall, the gallery will host live mural painting throughout festival week, giving the public a rare chance to see large-scale street art created in real time.
Artists will paint on temporary walls, with selected removable sections available for public bidding, offering the opportunity to own an original piece of street art created during the festival.
Come to the grand opening party on Saturday 21st March, featuring music, drinks, and the unveiling of completed works.
The gallery will then continue to open every Saturday until the South Side Festival closing party on Saturday May 16th, when bidding closes and artworks can be collected.
