Mural: Glory to the Historian

Artist Bio:

Trent Downie from TD Illustrations is an established mural artist based on the Mornington Peninsula. He studied arts illustration right here at Frankston Chisholm.

Unable to secure constant work in the artistic field in the early 2000s, Trent became an electrician to support his family of 4 kids. Still with a passion for art and mural painting he sold up everything and moved to the Peninsula for more opportunities. Now a full-time street artist surrounded by the beautiful Peninsula coastline and natural habitat Trent finds his main inspiration from the local flora and fauna, ocean beaches and bayside areas.

At times Trent can also be found combining his two trades utilising LED lights and UV glow in the dark lights to enhance his murals.
