Saturday @ New, Earlier Time 9.15pm, launched from Frankston Pier!

Is there anything more iconic than the Waterfront Festival fireworks across Port Phillip Bay?

Following an unforgettable performance by Hockey Dad on the main stage, the Waterfront Festival fireworks display will light up the bay with a colourful bang.

Get your crew together and get comfy on the beach, waterfront, along the boardwalk or even up towards Olivers Hill to enjoy the fireworks spectacular at the new time of 915pm on Saturday night!

Best viewing spots?

The fireworks will be launched from the end of Frankston Pier. Anywhere along the beach, the waterfront precinct, up to Olivers’ Hill, along the boardwalk and even from High Street, near St Paul’s Church will give you a great view of the spectacular.

There are three events to choose from:

400m - suitable for juniors, novice swimmers and those that just want a quick splash

1200m (1.2km) - Classic middle distance open water swim

2500m (2.5km) - For the more experienced swimmers, test yourself over our 2-lap long course

In 2026 there is also a Kids Beach Run - a 700m dash taking our young runners from the Frankston Yacht Club to the Surf Lifesaving Club and back. For ages 5 - 11 years only
