We are very fortunate to have a wide variety of natural reserves in the Frankston area, providing a diversity of habitats not only for indigenous wildlife but also for our international visitors, the migratory birds. You can pick up a copy of the booklet 'Natural Reserves within Frankston City' at the Visitor Information Centre. Bookings for guided Ranger walks during the school holidays are taken through the Visitor Information Centre also. Keep an eye out on our Events page for further details. The booklet contains maps, background information about the reserves and details of flora and fauna that you may see there. Groups requesting Ranger assistance for excursions to Natural Reserves should contact the Environmental Education Officer on 9784 1768. |
