Description

Frankston Beach is a great place to experience the excitement of powered water activities including jet-skiing and powered boating.

The use of motorised watercraft in Port Phillip Bay is governed by Maritime Safety Victoria. To view an interactive map and understand the rules governing Frankston’s coastline, please go to transportsafety.vic.gov.au/waterway-maps

In Frankston City there are two boat launching facilities:

Kananook Creek

Frankston Foreshore, 1N Pier Promenade, Frankston
8 ramps with large car park

Olivers Hill

600m Nepean Highway, Frankston South
2 ramps with large car park

Council will no longer be issuing boat ramp parking permits and will also remove casual parking fees (previously $15 per day) associated with parking in the boat ramp parking bays.
