It’s free to attend the Frankston Fire Festival, however, you should bring some money/credit card if you would like to purchase food, beverages, or market stall items.

•Yacht Club Car Park (including accessible parking bays)
Parking Closures:
•Kananook Creek Boat Ramp Car Park
•Parking is not available via Pier Promenade - Waterfront Car Park (main carpark) & the Playground Car Park will be closed for contractor parking.
Taking public transport to the event is highly encouraged to avoid traffic congestion. Bus services will depart from Frankston Train Station and drop near the festival site.

Yes, Frankston City Council Major Events are smoking and vape-free.
Alcohol can be purchased and consumed within the licensed area onsite. There is no BYO alcohol.
Alcohol cannot be taken outside the licensed fence line of the festival.
Alcohol service from licensed vendors will cease at 8:00pm (30 mins prior to event closure times), as per Producer License licensing requirements.
Yes, Security will be monitoring the event and ensuring responsible service and consumption of alcohol at the festival.
Fire elements at the festival include a fire sculpture, fire pits, flame effects, and gas fire drums that will be in operation throughout the festival, controlled by contractors and event staff. Fire safety teams, CFA, and a Public Safety Officer will also be in attendance. Emergency services are aware of the festival and CFA and Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) have been consulted during planning of the festival. A Permit to Burn has been issued to authorise these activities.

There are toilet facilities (including accessible toilets) located onsite. Permanent and temporary toilets are located around the main Waterfront toilet block.
If you require first aid assistance, St John First Aid will be located onsite across the duration of the festival.
There will be several hydration stations located across the site. Don’t forget to bring your reusable bottle to refill! Bottled water can be purchased from food vendors.
It may be necessary to modify the event due to inclement weather including high winds.
In extreme conditions, where it is deemed unsafe to proceed, programming may be delayed or cancelled.

The Waterfront can be a little colder than the City Centre so bring plenty of layers – puffer jacket, a beanie, warm shoes and gloves to stay cosy.
Well behaved dogs on leads are permitted at the event. Due to large crowds, music, and fire installations that may be stressful for your dog, you may wish to leave your furry friend at home.
