Getting There
This event is an opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate the festive season with a range of entertainment, activities and food on offer. The event site is accessible from all directions and entry is free.
ROAD CLOSURES
Road closures will be in place on the following roads from 6:00am Saturday 29 November to 3:00am Sunday 30 November:
DAVEY STREET closed between Baxter Street and Nepean Highway
YOUNG STREET closed between High Street and Playne Street
BAXTER STREET closed between Davey Street and Park Street
PLOWMAN PLACE open to local traffic only, via Bay Street South
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Please visit www.ptv.vic.gov.au to plan your journey. The closest train station is Frankston Train Station which is less than 1km from the festival. This is also where most buses to Frankston arrive and depart from. Please consider any schedule disruptions that may be in affect.

We suggest using the following public car parks, however, fees and restrictions may apply, so please check signage.

ACCESSIBLE DROP OFF POINT
If you are arriving via rideshare or taxi to the festival and/or require a drop off location close to the festival, the drop off point is located in front of the Frankston Library on Playne Street, prior to the Young Street roundabout.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times
- Some aspects of the event may change due to inclement weather, any changes will be communicated on social media pages
- This is a smoke/vape free event
- Alcohol cannot be consumed onsite (excluding licensed premises in Playne & Young Streets)
- For local residents, please ensure your pets are securely contained at home during the fireworks display between 9.15-9.45pm
- Information is correct at time of release and subject to change without notice.

Roving Entertainment
Towering, vibrant, and full of festive spirit, the Candy Cane Stilt Duo bring height, colour, and Christmas cheer. This energetic duo spreads joy through dynamic movement and dazzling costumes, creating a lively atmosphere filled with energy, sparkle, and festive magic.

The Itchy Feet Pep Band is Melbourne's professional level pep band, performing top 40s music in a brass band/upbeat format while on the march! Come and see them perform this Christmas!

Mums Supporting Families In Need (MSFIN)

Visitors can stop by the MSFIN marquee to learn how they support local families facing crisis by providing essential material aid such as clothing, toiletries, prams, cots, and emergency food relief. The team will be there to chat about how the community can get involved, support our programs, or access help through one of our 110 partner agencies. MSFIN will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys at the festival to help make Christmas brighter for local children doing it tough as part of their Christmas Toy Drive. Every gift donated will go to a local child who might otherwise go without this year.
Netfocus IT - ‘Mosaic of Merry’ community art collab activity

In 2024, Netfocus IT’s Frankston Christmas Festival Community Collab filled the ‘Wells Street Windows’ with 214 Seagulls! This year, they’re colouring the space in new festive hues and capturing the special moments of Christmas with the ‘Mosaic of Merry Frankston’, with the activity open to all ages. Visit the Netfocus IT team and draw your ‘merry selfie’ on the supplied artwork tiles which will contribute to this year’s community collab installation in the Wells Street Window. Visit the team to find out about how you can also enter the competition to win an Apple iPad (11th Gen128GB Wi-Fi) valued at $599!

Grab your Santa photo with the Nova 100 Breakfast team! Jase, Lauren, and Clint will be onsite from 4:30-6:00pm at Santa’s House. Visit the Supernovas during the festival with games, merch giveaways, and plenty of prizes so be sure to drop past!

Head down to the PARC stall and have some fun with the Frankston Skate Park team! Our experienced Skate Park team will be there giving free skateboard lessons for kids and adults of all ages and skill levels! Our Can Swim team will also be there with fun water safety activities. Visit the team from the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)! A life-sized replica of the cockpit and fuselage of an actual Flying Doctor Plane will be onsite equipped with stretchers, communications, oxygen, suction, and the equipment used by our everyday heroes; the doctors, nurses and pilots of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The Inclusion Project 
The Inclusion Project was developed to create more accessible events that accommodate those living with a Hidden Disability. At this year’s Frankston Christmas Festival, we will be facilitating a sensory space which is a calm environment that will offer a quiet retreat for all attendees.
Inside the space, an Occupational Therapist and an Inclusion Project Officer with lived experience will be available to offer support and ensure visitors feel comfortable.
Keep an eye out for our Inclusion Project Officers throughout the festival – they’ll be on hand to help anyone who may need assistance finding or accessing the Sensory Space.
