Did you know that Frankston’s Street Art Walking Tours have been awarded Australia’s Best Street Art Walking Tour for three consecutive years? In 2024, they were again named Australia's Best Street Art Tour and Frankston was the first destination EVER to enter the Hall of Fame in the awards!

The free festival tours are led by local guides who will take you on a journey to discover all of the city’s best street art – both existing artwork and the ones in progress.

You will get to see first-hand how the artworks are created, learn about the mode of application, gain an insight into the stories behind the artistic inspirations, and you may even get to have a chat to an artist or capture a memorable photo.

All tours will depart from the Frankston Library Forecourt (60 Playne Street, Frankston), run for 60 minutes and explore stories of the City’s existing artworks as well as the eight new murals created for Big Picture Fest 2024.

A celebration of the City’s best street art, The Block Party is a laneway takeover event that promises a night of colour, movement, music and so much fun.

See artists creating their iconic artworks, dance along with a stellar line-up of live music, be mesmerised by street performers or just pull up a deck chair, grab a drink and something to eat as you watch the projection art and soak it all in with your mates.

However you choose to get involved, you don’t want to miss out on being a part of Frankston’s colourful transformation.

In 2024, The Block Party will be in Park Lane and will include performances by Gut Health, Bananagun, Milku, plus Tamara and The Dreams and DJ Obliveus. See the full stage line-up and schedule below.

Born in a Taxi will be roving the site to entertain and delight all ages between 7.30pm and 8.15pm and again from 8.45pm to 9.30pm; and Fraz the Wizard has created some epic projections to capture your imagination and help you lose yourself in the night.

There's plenty of opportunity to stop and take it all in.

Our event sponsors Pirate Life, Hickinbotham of Dromana and That Spirited Lot will be serving up the best local drinks; the Sound Lounge Bar will keep you comfortable and chilled; and Wesh Pita, Jinee's Kitchen, Gelato Messina, Lekker Lekker, Lucy Oi and Volks Coffee will be there and ready to keep you well fed and caffeinated.

Entry is free. The vibe is chilled. The entertainment is next level. Get amongst it.
